'Nigel's Ferrari Debut'
Nigel Mansell left the Williams team to join Ferrari in 1989 in his quest to finally become World Champion. Pre-season testing did not go well, the new Ferrari 640 was terribly unreliable and the bar was set pretty low for the first Grand Prix of the year, on Rio de Janeiro's Jacarepaguá circuit. However against the odds, Mansell scored a suprising victory to the delight of his team.
